LR3 transmission kick

Scotty have a 2006 Land Rover LR3 with 190k started noticing a transmission kick just before coming to a stop. It also does a kick only if I accelerate before letting the engine RPMs completely go to idle. Otherwise it runs and shifts at all speeds w/o issues. I read this could be an issue with torque converter. Please advise thanks!!

Usually that's a binding driveshaft. Output splines are wearing out. Slather some grease on the slipyoke, and make sure your u-joint is tight and smooth. Leaving this untreated will cause further damage to other driveline components.

Thank you Mountainman!!! MC to you as well!!!

Well it off it is you might add some anti-shutter additive and pray that works because otherwise you can have to pull out the transmission and replace it and that mileage odds are the transmission is going to wear out eventually too

Thank you Scotty!!!! Big fan of yours!!!
