Scotty,
I just had my 93 F-150s transmission serviced with new fluid and filter and new tranny cooler. It still shifts a bit firm from 1-2nd gear. Do you think I should put a bottle of Lucas Stop slip in to help? Thanks!

No, it just shifts firm sometimes but I heard the stop slip helps with hard shifting.
From whom did you hear that? This chemical is supposed to help stop slippage, not fix bad shift solenoids.

A firm shift is pretty common in those, mine had a nice solid 1-2....not something I'd worry about unless you have a clunk.
