Should I buy a 2008 Lexus is 250 or a 2010 '11 or '13 honda civic? Im a college student so reliability and good car make matter (if both are equally well kept).
All else being equal, get the Civic. As a student, the lower maintenance costs of the Civic will be a boon.
As with any used car, have it thoroughly inspected by a professional mechanic, before purchase.

Being a student, the Civic would be my choice. Cheaper to run and maintain.
As a student, I highly recommend the Honda Civic due to total cost of ownership (TCO) which includes maintenance and repair.
I'd definitely go with the Civic myself..the minute you have an expensive repair on the Lexus you very well may regret it
Both are well made especially the 2010-2011; 2013 Honda Civics and the Lexus IS. I would get whichever one passed a mechanical inspection. All else equal, the Civic would have lower maintenance and repair costs and both should last a long time.
is 250 is a dog for the amount of money for the performance. its still reliable but not that fun, id at least look at ES or GS
