I was in the market for a third gen rav4 and wanted to know if the 3.5L v6's are going to be money pits in the long run. I have heard there are many things about it that need replacing like the water pump and other stuff online.

The V6 are better than the I4 in the 3rd gen, specifically 2006-2008 because of oil burning.
