Hi I’ve a 2015 mazda 3 sedan and today when I went to drive it as soon as I put my handbrake lever down I heard a loud bang. It felt like it was from the rear of the car from brake pads or something it was quite loud o was shook do you know what it could be?

Was it quiet after that? You didn't leave any pieces on the road behind you?
it might have just been your brakes coming unstuck. If you're worried, then jack up the vehicle, remove the wheels and do an inspection.

Ya nothing once i started moving and nothing on my driveway either. Ill check with a jack thanks.

Freezing temps? Our cars often pop when water freezes on the suspension overnight.
