Fuel Induction Service needed on Mazda CX-5?

Hey Scotty I’m a fan and subscriber, looking for some feedback.

I have a 2020 Mazda CX-5, bought it with 10k Miles on it from a Mazda dealership. I just hit 20k miles and took it for service and they wanted to charged me $250 for a Fuel Induction Service, I declined thinking it’s only got 20k miles. First time owning a Mazda and want to get your opinion on if I should do it or wait? Thanks so much

You don’t need it.

It's only needed if you want to contribute to the stealership's bottom line with no tangible benefit to yourself.

The fuel INJECTION service they are going for is a scam.  Please do not take your vehicle to any car dealer unless you enjoy getting lied to and ripped off.

Typical stealership ‘value added service’. Like @doc and the others said and you rightly decided, stay away..

I agree with the above comments. Just one thing to note is that your engine has direct injection system. Installing an oil catch can is a good idea to protect the valves from carbon buildup. Another thing is that your engine has cylinder deactivation system. Do some research to see if there is a way to deactivate it to make your car last longer.
