Hello please how reliable is the Mazda6 Gt 2017 (which doesn't yet have the turbocharger) vs the camry xse 2017, i kinda like the Mazda 6 more it seems to look more luxurious, stylish and sporty, given it's also a Japanese car, how reliable and trouble free will it be compared to the camry, I'll choose reliability anyday. How many miles can(probability) it go before it starts causing issues.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to share your experience and knowledge.
Mazda is making good car recently, although it is not as reliable as Toyota especially in the long run.
Okay thanks
And the winner is....... Toyota.... by miles. There are Camry’s out there that have 300-400k miles on them. Toyota has kept this model reliable in every generation of it. Mazda reliability is getting better. But you’ll see many a clean shiny Mazda 6 in the junkyard at 150k miles. Only time I have seen Camry’s is if they were dogged badly or wrecked.
Okay thanks.
If you like the 6, get the 6. Yeah, it might not be as good as Toyota in terms of longevity. But it is definitely worlds better than almost any other car in its category.
Thanks, could it reach 200k miles trouble free with regular maintenance?
Me personally, I’d take a gamble on a Mazda lasting 200K. I don’t know firsthand though.
