We are on a waiting list here in Canada for a new 2022 RAV 4. We saw Scotty's video on exterior plastic parts melting and now we are wondering if we should cancel the order. Does this problem of melting exterior plastic parts apply to RAV 4s made in Canada?
We are wondering if Toyota has lowered their standard.
Should we get another SUV from another company like Mazda or do you have another suggestion? What is the most reliable well-made SUV? I know Toyota used to be reliable but are they still one of the best SUVs? Need some advice on this. Thanks!
Personally I find Toyota and Honda to still be the best choice when comparing to many other manufacturers and issues other manufacturers have. I wouldn't be super worried about it and not all of them are having this issue so if it were me I would be totally fine going forward with the purchase.
Are the new Toyotas in your area, melting (like in Scotty’s video)?
