Mercedes Benz GLC300 2023 electric problems from mile 0

Hi Scotty.

I hope my message finds you well.

We leased a 2023 MEBE GLC300 and right away began experiencing problems.

The AC was not cooling off. The dealer said it was fixed, but the AC still has to be lowered to its lowest setting to cool the car off in 70-degree weather. The dealer (Ray Catena of Edison NJ) then said they replaced a sensor. AC still blows warm air.

The most hazardous issue is, the hatch would close when the bumper cover is accidentally depressed when loading and unloading. The dealer said it was fixed, but it was not. This issue caused injuries to several people including lessee's employee.

About 300 miles from 0 when we got the car, we noticed that the power seats would not adjust when button is depressed, and would slide on their own.

We wrote an email to MEBE CEO Ola Kallenius, whose office responded that we needed to speak to MEBE USA CEO Dimitris Psillakis, whose office had some low-key person call and basically inform us that we needed to jump through hoops until the lease ends.

The car feels like a flood vehicle.

I'm uploading a video for you to use as you wish. https://imgur.com/a/Jz24vwG

What do you think/suggest?

Thanks for your time.

Another example of why Scotty advises against buying German cars.

Depending on where you live you might be able to use the lemon law to resolve the issue. Keep track of all your communications and service records and use the lemon law.

We leased

That was smart you didn't buy it. Dealers usually try to avoid fixing things for free. Thanks for sharing your experience with Us.
