Please follow the link for a recent report about a Mercedes hybrid car battery.

Car value approx £12000, Cost of new battery £15000, car is 8 years old and was purchased for £27000.

What do you think?

Suspect you might say this is another example of electric crap.

Thanks

Cheers

John

That’s the problem (among many) with these EVs that we have been preaching about:  the cost of the battery replacement is very high and most likely will need it if you keep long enough, whereas a Toyota or Honda rarely needs a new engine (usually due to poor maintenance).

Wow! And to think the cost of Lithium is about to explode from soaring demand.
