I have a 2008 fwd mercury sable primer with a 132,000. I have noticed from using my phone and seeing speed traps my speedometer reads between 2-3 mph low. Any ideas?

Are the tires different than factory size?

Acceptable margin of error. Regarding @chucktobias comment, larger diameter tires will make the speedo read slow while smaller diameter tires will make the speedo read fast.
