Hello everyone. I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport XLS 3.6L with 227,000 miles that was leaking oil. I changed the oil valve cover gaskets, but the leak has continued on the opposite valve cover. Could this just be improper installation or are there any know oil leaking problems with these vehicles?

Most likely your installation was the issue, you will have to take it off again and see if it slipped out of position on reinstall.
