I know that Scotty frowns on mitsubishi cars because of their use of CVT's from nissan, but I wonder if the same negative view holds true for the outlander GT that has a V6 and a conventional automatic transmission? I have been seeing more of these around lately and they appear to have a lot of room at a much lower cost than honda, especially as used cars. What is the opinion on these V6 outlanders, particularly the newer ones (model years 2017 and newer)?

They can be decent cars for low mileages but they can not last as near as Toyota or Honda.
