When are a vehicle manufacturers next years models, released? I was always told that it starts around the Summer of the current year. I purchased a 2019 Honda Civic LX, 2.0 4 cylinder, in December of 2019. The manufacturer sticker on the vehicle has a date of 09/2019. Is it indeed, a 2019, or possibly a 2020? The salesperson said that it's a 2019, and that there were no changes in body style from 2019 to 2020. I also got a really good price! $18,350 + TTL.
My dad sold cars they USUALLY release them Aug the year before
Aug 2019 to Aug 2020 is 2020.
If you look dealers have 2021 out in Aug to now.. however everyone is different even between models I'm looking at you chevy bolt...
In Europe we use more often year of production. So do I.
