Has anybody given Monroe's heavy duty truck shocks a try? I know Scotty isn't a fan of Monroes and was curious if they make their heavy duty shocks any better than their normal offerings. I used a set in my 1999 Ranger when I replaced the shocks last year and 20k mi later, they're still riding pretty well. They're a little stiff, but I expected that. I drive on pothole ridden roads quite often and wanted shocks that are made to take some abuse.

Well they're better than the ones they make for cars you always do have to buy the top and Monroe of anything cuz they're cheaper products are garbage

have you looked at Rancho products? They make a lot of heavy duty stuff.
Maybe the ones with the helper springs on them would be the ticket.
