Hey Scotty
Greetings from downunder.
Who makes the most unreliable cars in America?
Since this question is asking about the worst of the worst, then I say Fiat, Land Rover, and Alpha Romeo - all bunched together in last place.
- Volkswagen, Audi
- Hyundai, Kia and Genesis
- Jaguar and Land Rover
- Mercedes-Benz
- BMW
- Mitsubishi
- Nissan and Infiniti
- Suzuki
Honorable mentions: Isuzu, Subaru and Mazda
Why? Endless money pits as they age.
You might not think it but Honda's reliability goes back and forth. If you buy one, there's a good chance you'll end up with a bad car and that's where research is involved.
What about GM?
lol true and chrysler and maserati and alfa, the list goes on....
1. Stellantis
2. Jaguar/Range Rover
3. Hyundai/Kia
4. Ford/GM
5. Nissan
Yep, US stellantis is terrible (their European Peugeot / Citroën lineup is much better). The 500X is the worst of the bunch.
ANY motor vehicle made in England.
1. Chrysler
2. GM/Ford
3. VW
4. Nissan
5. Mitsubishi
General Motors and VW, from my understanding
A lot of American brands like GM and Chrysler. The Italian brands and some german brands like VW are there too. Nissan unreliability is a bit stretched IMO because they have the potential to be reliable since they mostly make good engines (but people are just lazy to maintain the damn CVTs), but it depends on which one you get, mainly the 4 cylinder with CVT Nissans are the ones that are not the most reliable, the others seem fine.
