Hi Scotty. Just purchased a 2017 Honda Rebel 500A. Can I use 10W30 synthetic and how often should I change the oil, It has 4,000km on it now and supposedly had its first break-in change.

Note that many "Energy Conserving" oils will not work with your wet-plate clutch. They have "extra slippery" additives which will make your clutch slip. Your manual will probably recommend ones marked JASO T903 and/or API- SJ-MA. If you don't have a user's manual handy, you can download one from the Honda web site.
