Good afternoon everyone hows it goin? Are muffler deletes worth it on any Honda Civic? My cousin has a 2003 Honda Civic EX 5-Speed with few performance mods and was wondering if a muffler delete is worth it? He knows it'll be loud as a mug but will it cause damage or gain any advantages?
I would not do that on any car at all. Depending on where you live, you will end up breaking the law.
No real gains to be made by doing that.
No gains, loss of low end torque, terrible sound, bad for the engine, etc. etc.
Not recommended on any vehicle. Loud doesn't mean fast.

Bad idea. The change in back pressure from the original design of the engine will really screw up the computer and it will become nearly impossible to tune correctly.
If you want a louder car, see if they make sportier mufflers specifically for Civics that are designed to work with the car. If there's a Honda equivalent to Ford Performance or Roush, look there. I threw Roush Axlebacks in my 2017 Mustang and left the rest of the exhaust stock.

Be carefull… if you don’t want the cat to be bad, adleast keep the resonator because your cat won’t have enough backup pressure for it to work right.
True. He said never mind after seeing the replies to my post. I told him my exhaust system I have a 4" JDM Titanium, Cold Air Intake and Headers which deleted the catalytic converter I have the LX 5-Speed and a straight pipe
What type of car?
I have a 2001 Honda Civic 5-Speed
