1980 el camino 305 v8 dual exhaust. My engine runs great and sound half way decent but I was wondering if a new muffler would give it some more growl when idle or acceleration. Not looking at performance just a bigger sound . Is this possible or are there other things needed, caMs, headers, etc...?

It's totally possible, just swap out the muffler with whatever you want. You don't need supporting mods for it.
