key stuck in the ignition

I have a 2014 Subaru Legacy 2.5i with a CVT transmission & 69k miles. But out of the blue my key got locked in the ignition, it’s stuck in park all the time, there’s a “at oil temp” light(manual says the transmission fluid is too hot but appears to be fine), also the turn signal & hazards stoped working. Everything else is great.

I think it tripped some codes and messed things up. Is this something I can fix with a scan tool, or will resetting my ECU help?

What are the codes? Please post them all here.

Well one make sure you got good battery power cuz if you lose battery power they can do all kinds of wonky things. But if the battery is fine spray a bunch of WD-40 around the inside on the edge of the key and wiggle the key back and forth as much as you can using a vice grip pliers and try to pull the stupid thing out. Then if you do get it out hopefully you have another key you can use it's a known good key cuz keys will wear out over time. If that doesn't work unfortunately you'd have to replace the ignition cylinder assembly and that's a pain in the ass
