hey Scotty I got a 1987 Ford F150 with a 300 inline 6 4.9 l 4 speed 4x4 85560 miles the truck runs great cold but it likes to die when it's warm it has new fuel pump new fuel filter new fuel pressure regulator new map sensor new ignition coil new air idle control and I still can't figure out why it's dying I practically replaced all the sensors in it
Could you be more specific on how it is shutting off? Is it at idle, at full throttle, when climbing a steep hill? More details should get you a better answer.

That sounds like the pickup coil inside the distributor may be failing.
When replacing the pickup coil be sure to set the correct gap. Most are around .010".
