I have a automatic 2005 chevy avalanche 1500 with the 5.3 no codes have popped up
When i take off my truck seems like it has no power but, when I'm driving all power is restored until I stop and try to take off again. I've replaced the factory air filter with a cold air intake, I've replaced both knock sensors, spark plugs and wires, oil and filter is changed every 3000 miles transmission fluid and filter replaced every 10000 miles. I have had it looked at multiple times by different mechanics and with all their fancy computers no problem has benn found but, was told by each there has to be something, I'm lost can anyone help to figure this out????
Have you tried disconnecting the maf sensor and seeing if it still does it?

Have not changed that but, wouldn't that throw a code?
Usually only if the code is out of the expected range of values. Could be giving an incorrect value that is making the computer think that the throttle plate is not open much.
