Hello Scotty,

I need a 3 row hauler for my family. I was thinking a Highlander hybrid. I’ve been buying cars pre-owned for last 12 years or so, but given the current situation with the used car market and the new one for that matter, I’ll wait until 2023 to pull the trigger, but I do need a family hauler right now. 
I was thinking my father in law’s 2006 Lincoln Navigator. The truck has 126k miles and mechanically is in good shape, mostly maintenance issues and it does need a few repairs cosmetically. I’m a perfectionist, so my calculations to leave the car in pristine condition, it needs another $5k in repairs. 
Is it a good buy? Is the Navigator reliable enough to squeeze out a few more years?
