Need a replacement OBD2 port for a 2016 Mazda 6 GT

Made the big mistake of attaching one of those dash cam power supply adapters to the OBD2 port on my car to facilitate parking mode functionality, it shorted and melted part of my OBD2 port. Dealers have been no help in advising on replacement part. Does anyone know about what can be done here?

Thinking an aftermaket replacement port is needed -to be rewired on. But don't know who makes a good one, where to find them or what kind of details are needed to be known so I get a compatible replacement part. I have seen some things come up about various OBD protocols, depending on year / make of car.

Dash is displaying the service engine soon light and a charging system malfunction warning is on my information screen. The car is running fine and the charging system also seems to be fine (lights have been on for a few weeks with no noticeable effect).

Any insights here would be greatly appreciated, due to the damage to the port - I can not connect my BlueDriver OBD scan tool to reset the codes to see if they come back. The dealer advised that there is no other way to connect to the car's diagnostics to reset them either, other than the OBD2 port.

there seems to be quite a few on Amazon. Just make sure it has all the pins that your vehicle does.

Not an answer, but perhaps @cloudstrife should take a look at this before plugging a dashcam into the OBDII port...funny how they asked this question a few hours ago on whether it's a good idea to power a dashcam with the OBDII and now someone posted this. On a Mazda too...
