My wife and I are US citizens living in Germany. We brought our 2021 US-spec Mazda CX-30 over here with us and we are happy with it. My wife wants us to consider selling it and buying a brand new Audi S7 in 2024, enjoy driving it for a few years here and then bring it back with us in 2026 when we return to the USA. We can get a significant discount on a US-spec model through the military auto sales program and don't have to pay sales tax on it. Uncle Sam ships vehicle over here and one back to the USA, but it doesn't have to be the same car. Because we are under the Status Of Forces Agreement, we can drive a US-spec vehicle in Germany while we are here. ( We just cannot export a German-spec car to the United States until it is 25 years old. )
I know that you are not a fan of Audi cars, but that S7 is gorgeous and FAST with its twin-turbo DOHC V6. BMW also has a program for Americans stationed here with the military, but my wife is really keen on the Audi. Thanks!

Just keep in mind the USA does not have the German Autobahn where you can fully explore the performance capabilities of this vehicle. And just wondering what a new set of tires cost for that baby.
