Scotty,
long time viewer here, I have put in an order for a base two door Ford Bronco with the V6 automatic transmission. I am wondering if I should switch it up to a manual transmission. I have never owned a car with a manual transmission before, but it seems really fun to drive. I live in LA and I’ve seen that the crawler gear acts like a “traffic gear” on the bronco. What would you do? This is going to be my daily driver, in the long run which would have a lesser chance of breaking down the 4 cylinder manual transmission or the V6 automatic? Much appreciated!

The manual transmission is good, but everything else in the Bronco is going to break down. I would lease it to have less problems over time.

You are better off not buying the Bronco if you plan to keep it for the long run; same goes for almost all current Ford models (exception being the Superduty series of trucks). I would lease it and return before the warranty expires.
I would never buy one for daily driving in LA, but if I had to it would definitely be an automatic.
Borrow or test drive a manual in heavy traffic 1st to see what it's like.
I’d go manual. I got to ride along in one with the crawler gear, and was amazed. Potential to extend the life of the clutch! I wanna try one for myself.
