Hey Scotty I wanna know what you think, my sister wants to buy a new car, it’s a 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT 6.1 L hemi, it’s for about 13K and it has 80,000 miles on it, what do you think should she buy it?
$13K for a 15-year-old Chrysler? I'd run away screaming from that deal. Granted, a 2006 model predates the hemi's well-known camshaft lubrication problems but still that car is going to be falling apart in short order.
Not just no, but heck no....They weren't very good cars when new, so they certainly aren't any good 13 yrs later.
Junk, transmission will be the first to go soon, and with a hemi unless it was owned by grandma I can assure you it’s seen some hard miles. Run Forrest Run!
No, they want too much for it and it is already up there in mileage (for that vehicle) and just won’t hold up over time (especially electronics). She will be disappointed. I would pass over it. 2006 also had the most issues: this is not meant to be comprehensive but relative to other years it had more complaints

I know it isn't Fiat Chrysler but it still applies. I assume you or your sister don't watch that many of Scotty's videos? Probably THE worst cars out there are the later 2000s Chrysler products where Daimler Chrysler was gone and it was in transition between a holding company and Fiat and all they were making were literal junk.
And, and... I- The price is just a joke. Nothing else to say. Probably 7-8 times what its actually worth.

If your sister really wants a 2006 300 find some local auto auctions that aren’t dealer only. Used dealers are getting them running all day long for under a grand.
