My grandad had old lexusgs v8. The car is from 1998 and has 512545miles on it. He religiously took take of the car and baby it. Engine and tranny is original. He never rebuild it or replaced it.  Expect for some parts like air suspension, brake, alternator, tires, battery everything on it is original.

He doesn't drive the car anymore due to his age and pass the car on to me.

Due to that many miles I caint neither upgrade the car or modify it. So I had to option either sell it or give some one in need. 

Since car market was high I was curious how much will it go for

I checked

carvana =$800

Carmax= $400

So for fun I took the car for lexus dealership and They said 300 at best.

BUT 

When they look at the miles on that car they offered me a new lexus for 50% off

I was in shocked. They told me it is lexus policy if car ran well over 500000miles with original tranny and engine and no mods done they will give next lexus for 50% off.

I had few option on what cars I could get for 50%

Lexus gx

Lexus rcf 

I went with rcf and give them his car and also trade in my FIAT SPYDER 123

So for new lexus rcf I am only paying 20000grand with tax 8 years extended warranty and 5 year tires warranty included 

Talk about steal ....

Do if anyone own lexus and everything is stock and has more 500000miles can get new car for 50%
