Hey Scotty Does the new Lucas oil stabilizer for modern cars help stop ticking lifters? Or do I need a specific additive like liqui moly. Thanks. I have hydraulic valve lifter tick and need suggestions.

First thing to figure out is if your lifters are hydraulic or solid and need to have valve lash adjusted.

A lot of guys swear by Lucas for quieting lifters. I have seen both work personally so I would say whichever option you are comfortable with.
I have no preference but I’m just wanting to know it the Lucas for modern cars will quite lifter tick
If it is only noise, yes it will. Now if there is a physical issue with the lifter then the noise will persist.
Ok I will definitely change my oil and give it a try
