Hello, My friends just purchased a 2016 Nissan rogue with 70k miles on it. I know that the Jatco CVTs are trash so to make the best out of it, should they change the transmission fluid now or leave it be as it has already passed it's changing intervals? Thanks

And also check the search bar above. Bottom line for changing CVT fluid on a Nissan: never too late and never too early.

Did the previous owners change the fluid?
If one lasts past 80k without having changed the fluid, it is probably doing better than average.
