186,000 miles is a lot of miles. I wouldn't be surprised if the wheel bearings, bushings, rubber grommets etc aren't worn out. If its in great shape you could get another 100,000 out of it. How much are they asking? I wouldn't pay more than say 1,100-2,000 for it. Even that's pushing it depending on the shape its in. Have a good mechanic check it out.
ALSO, find out if those miles are mostly city or mostly highway. Big difference. Cars wear about 10x more with city driving for a given distance.
