Nissan Maxima 2006 thin hose

Hi Scotty. This hose is on the right side 3/4 of the way to the driver fender under the hood .It comes up from the side bottom of engine it appears and stands up. Makes me wonder if it is disconnected.

Purchased this 2006 Nissan Maxima LE last week. Drives great. OEM hose TN 5Y01.

Sounds like the transmission vent hose. Just vents to atmosphere
