I have a 2015 Nissan Versa SV. Sometimes the radiator fan doesn’t come on when I turn the ac on however, when I hit the back of the motor it will come on. With the ac off the fan stops and I have yet to see it working when the engine is hot. It’s cool here so I am wondering if that is the reason why. So far no overheating and the coolant level is fine. I’ve checked the fuses and they’re ok. I wondering if I should just swap out the cooling fan assembly.

If the thing runs when you whack it that would suggest the fan needs to be replaced.
