have a 2000 seat toledo a 1.8 petrol 20v no turbo.
I just got the car and tried for the first time to read it, because of too high CO rejection.
but I do not enter the system with the scan tools of mine, the VAG scan and the dealer's APK readout tool is also not in the ECU of the car. which also gives an error code do not connect to the tester does not communicate with driver is on scanner.
3 readout devices do get voltage, but they don't get any further than just performing a scan. so again a normal scan on 140 points he does but the ECU engine related sensors and such do not work so a live scan does not work either.
It's weird that the check engine light is completely gone! and that you can't get in touch with the ECU.
the car drives fine no problems nothing. only malfunction light is so away from the screen completely not taped.
I don't know if that engine light has anything to do with it being invisible now, because the obd2 doesn't allow ecu connection either.
Try my video fixing a car with a scan tool that won't communicate Scotty. Type that into YouTube search. Any minor problem like a bad sensor or corroded wire can cause no communication with a scan tool
Hello Scotty thanks for you anser dude.
could you please tell me if I disconnect those sensors at a time to see, should I disconnect them with a running engine? Or should I disconnect the sensors only when the engine is off to test them?
