- Hello Scotty I have a 2003 350z I bought it with a few problems that I fixed and it ran great but I had no interior heat I did a flush changed the belts and bought a new thermostat now it gives heat only when I accelerate an improvement o then burped it a few more time using the bleeder valve and still only heat when I accelerate I drove it for a while and saw smoke one day but the temperature gauge didn't go up but when I was about the park I saw the p0300 code go on what could be causing this?
- A few things to say one the thermostat had no spring inside when I replaced it
- Had some big misfires pops but when I changed the intake air filter it went away
- Did a radiator flush and debris came out clean this out and flushed again no more came out
- No coolant loos or very little no leaks that I can see
- 151,000 miles 2 pervious owners a lot of mods done to this car including headers test pipes exhaust planeum spacer intake
- Thanks any help would be great I'm guessing the water pump but I don't hear it making noise and doesn't look like it's leaking I'm changing it out anyway it's coming soon but please let me know if this makes sense

lots of possibilities. since the radiator had junk in it, the heater core could be plugged.
Temperature blend door could be malfunctioning.
I think you need to do more investigation instead of firing the parts machine at the problem.
Are both heater hoses hot?
