Hi Scotty, I'm new to your channel i appreciate your knowledge and expertise.
I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 in line six automatic 2wd. Other day I went to start it, turned the key and nothing!! No click no dash lights no radio and no head lights! Battery is good but it seems like no power is getting to where it needs to be.
Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any guidance you could provide.
Could be a broken ignition switch with nothing turning on. Also, check all the fuses.
Carefully check battery cables and connectors. (Even if they look good there can be hidden corrosion.) Load test battery to make sure it's really OK. Test starter by briefly hotwiring solenoid to battery positive terminal.
Well many things can lose power but often that's just a warrant out starter if you have someone turn the key and you whack the starter with a stick or a long screwdriver and it starts to turn it means you need a new starter
