- Hello I need some help with my ol 1988 ford bronco 2, she’s an automatic and 4x4 I have dumped quite some money into this thing now she’s starting to act up again. The other day I was going to work she stopped running when I went into the store. Drove fine to the store which is right by my work I went back from inside and she was hesitating to start real bad so as it was hesitating I turned it off something cracked a little when I did this mind you I had recently just put a new solenoid in it. I tried to turn her on and she was hesitant for a split second then something cracked and popped from what it seemed to be upfront and after that she hasn’t ran since I tried putting old solenoid back on and it still didn’t do nothing no crank turnover no lights no power at all whatsoever. I have since replaced the alternator, ignition cylinder, ignition switch. I went out and got me a multimeter and the battery was producing above expectancy all the wires I tested have power as well. It has a brand new starter in it the battery is brand new as well new terminals new fuel pumps new fuel filters a whole bunch of stuff I’m clueless at this point this is my daily and I’m hoping I can get her back up and running here soon if any body has any advice or tips or what I should go out and get for it that would be greatly appreciated
Starter relay, main ignition fuse.
Thanks for the response, I’m going to get a new starter solenoid today but that still doesn’t fix the problem that the headlights won’t turn on I checked all the fuses they all look good. Do you know where the main fuse might be I looked it up and no answers it has three main fuses I believe on the fender one for fuel pump, a multipurpose one and another one I forget what it was for but nothing for headlights. I feel as though whenever I can get my headlights to work or at get power I’ll know I fixed the problem but the alternator solenoid and battery are all getting enough electricity i used the multimeter tool and checked all 3 main fuses on fender with it as well still no lights no power nothing when I turn the key.

Also shows location of starter relay near firewall.
Okay so I just check all my fuses on the fuse box in the cabin I will probably end up replacing the three relays on the fender I found out what the my are first powers fuel pumps second powers ecu and third power WOT. Now when I jump the starter solenoid she hesitates but starts up and dies quickly after any ideas
The lights come on as well on the dash when I bridge the solenoid but it just does shortly after
