Hi Scotty,
I drive a 2008 lexus es350 it has well over 200,000 km on it, the engine got rebuilt with the transmission about 4 years ago but the odometer never got reset and now the odometer is stuck displaying 198,000km
It recently started making noise when I turn left and the first time I heard the noise was the loudest. I was turning left at a round about and suddenly I heard a loud mechanical noise and then I started feeling a lot of vibration on the brake pedal and the steering wheel started shaking, but after that the noise was gone. Ever since then the noise just comes and goes I been trying to figure out what causes the noise to come back but I still don't know, all I can say for sure is that it only comes back when I steer to the left
If your wondering about the story behind the car it originally was my mother but then she got tired of it and bought an infinity then she got tired of it and got a Porsche. My has been driving the car for the most part and my 2 older got it when they got their license, they busted the motor and then my dad spent way too much money to justify selling it so now I'm been driving it for a year now back and forth from university. The problems with the steering started about a month ago
Also I don't if this is related to the issue but sometimes when I start the car after it's been sitting for a while I hear a wizzy or whistling noise I think that is coming from the brake system since when I open the hood and push down on the brake reservoir it stops for a sec then comes back same thing happens when I push on the brake pedal.
Well with high mileage many things can wear. So jack up the car and do my video how to check out your own car suspension system? Scotty. Type that into YouTube and watch the video. It could often be the stabilizer bar bolt or it can be worn tie rods or wiring ball joints or even worn wheel bearings. Check of them all
