I recently changed my trans fluid on my 2014 Rogue, Nissan with 80,000 miles on it. I happen to be looking through the car manual and noticed it said that I was to use NS-2 CVT fluid. The dealership I got the fluid and trans filter from sold me NS-3 (you would think they could get the fluid correct). Will the NS-3 CVT fluid harm the transmission?

specifications say NS-3 is backwards compatible with NS-2

You could always call or write to Nissan national and ask them.
