Hi, My Car Make Is A 99 Mitsubishi Mirage, 1.5L ,Automatic Transmission…

My check engine light is on .. po340 code (CamShaft Position Sensor A Bank 1)

I Can’t Find The Camshaft Location On My 1.5L Mirage Engine..

Another Problem Is My Car Takes Up More Fuel…

I Have Recently Newly Replaced The Catalytic Converter, Fuel Filter, Throttle Body, Throttle Sensor , Spark Plugs , Fuel Pump, Fuel Injectors, 02 Sensor 1 BUT Still Consumes more...

Made A 192km Trip With A Full Tank, When I Arrived my Tank Read 1/4… had To Top Up to 3/4 and get back.. When I Got Back , My Tank Guage Read Between 1/4 - E

Made A 34.0 km Trip With Full Tank But I Arrived With 1/2 Tank.. I Returned By topping up to 3/4 and arrived home with 1/4..

Another Day, I Made Same 34.0 km Trip With Full Tank.. I Retun Home And My Tank Read 3/4.. (Harsh Driving Habit)

NB-: First 2 trips Trips Were Made On No Harsh Driving Habits

Any idea O2 sensor position cause this (( I have all 2 sensors Installed at upstream(locally installed)

(none after the catalytic converter.)

Could this be the reason

Any Ideas On What To Do..?

Thank You ..

Realize that camshaft position sensors built in the distributor you have to replace distributor to do that and that could cause all your running problems

Thank You Scott.. I Will Replace That And Update You The Outcome..

If I May Ask You Scott.. Is The O2 Sensor Position Right ..? … The Both Of Them Are Upstream or I Need To Drill Another Hole After The Converter And Put The Other O2 Sensor ..

My Exhaust Was Locally Made ( From Previous Owner)
