Hey Scotty,
My 05 saturn vue ( I know, what was I thinking), makes a grinding clanking noise from the front right, my mechanic says its the timing chain not lubing till it gets warmed up. I still hear and feel it when i start out in the morning. He said it would be costly to fix. Is this a common problem for this year and make with automatic trans,( FWD). And can it be fixed, had it over a year now and its my daily driver. Thanks for your time and always thanks for the great advice.

The v6 is a J series honda V6 which uses a timing belt. If the hydraulic tensioner fails, you'll hear knocking noise, not crunching or grinding nosie.
