I was just about to order the Scotty recommended Foxwell NT301 scanner when I discovered it didn't work on my 2016 Mazda CX-5. This is the case for most other reasonably priced scanners. Can anyone recommend a good OBD2 scanner in this price range that is also compatible with Mazda, Toyota, etc. Thanks.

Where are you located? If it is not on the US, find out which scan tool is compatible with your car by contacting the company.
Thanks for your response Yaser. I have four (soon to be five) older Ford trucks, a Camry and the CX-5. Like Scotty, I keep them until they become cost prohibitive to maintain. With that many vehicles I thought it might be cost effective (and interesting) to invest in a OBD2 scanner. I'm in Maryland where the dealerships use these high-dollar scanners and offer no inexpensive scanner suggestions. Thanks .
Get one from Autel line up products. You can also get a Bluedriver scan tool for if you decided to spend around $100.
Thanks much.
You're welcome. You can also search this from for suggested scan tools.
