Oil Change Question

Topic starter

I got 2015 Highlander that my wife drives.  Due to COVID, both me and my wife have been working from home since March 2020.  Last oil change was on 10/7/2020 @ 31,200 mi.  Now on 6/1/2021 I have 32,500 mi.  When should I change the oil?  Should I wait until October and change oil (one year later) regardless of millage?  It's full synthetic oil and I doubt I'll put more than 3,000 mi since last oil change by October.  Oil is still clean light color.

Please do not double post. Thank you.

Once a year or every 5,000 miles (whichever comes first) is the recommendation.  If you do primarily city driving (stop and go driving with extensive idling) then every 3,000 miles or 6 months (whichever comes first) would be better.  Not sure which scenario you are in.  But otherwise, in October is fine.

If there is ever any question, just change it, and the PCV valve too.
