I've got a 2013 dodge dart with the 1.4 liter turbo engine. It takes cartridge filters. I'm trying to crack my old filter to check for anything in the oil, but I'm at a Loss and most of the internet hasent been of great service.

What do you mean by "crack my old filter?"
