Hey Scotty, I have a 2008 Ford F250 diesel with an upper bed plate gasket oil leak. the dealer says they will pull the engine and replace all the other gaskets including both head gaskets for $8000. My extended warranty will pay $5000. Should I get it fixed or put put stop leak in and sell it - I can get $16,000. Thanks.
I forgot I have 77,000 miles

Stop leak is just a band aid approach to actually fixing the problem.

If you can get it fixed for $3K out of pocket and sell it for $16K, I'd say you were $13K ahead of the game.
Thanks Doc.But $13000 won't get much of a truck.It thought trying stop leak but it's questionable.
