The oil line that feeds into the radiator and back to the transmission seems to be covered in gunk and it’s really dirty. I’ve washed the lines and gunk off and you can see it’s a very small leak not enough to add oil to the truck. The truck is a 2005 SS Silverado. Is it just a bad o-ring?
Back to the engine my bad lol
A picture would help greatly.
Are they the rubber oil lines crimped onto metal pipes? I've had this problem before and I just cut off the crimps and I used double hose clamps to reattach. Was dry as a bone after. Or you could just replace them for around $100.
@mountainmanjoe
The connection to the radiator is metal and about 3-4 feet after that they turn into rubber but the connection to the radiator does have like a plastic retainer piece. And I’m on iPhone not to sure how to add a picture
