03 Silverado 4.8 V8 229,565 miles. My oil pressure gauge comes and goes. Thinking about installing an aftermarket mechanical gauge. Any recommendations? What/how you go about installing it? Thanks.

Well you just remove the old oil pressure sending unit and screw in a new system and the mechanical one just has lines that you run through the dash drill a little hole. Any company can sell them discount auto parts stores whatever they're so simple
