Hey Scotty, which is a better purchase? 2002 Toyota Camry with 150k miles or 2008 Honda Accord with 200k miles?

Whoa.  It's tough deciding between a Camry and Accord.  That is like a rock and a hard spot.  And with the added data of one being an older car lower mileage and the other being a newer car higher mileage.

On top of that, you I believe those are the first years for each of those generations, IIRC.

I don't know the details of each year, and it's hard to see what condition the cars are in.

Assuming everything checks out, I think I would sway Accord.

I personally would go Camry because the 08 is possibly one of the worst model years and the 02-06 generation of Camry is a very good one.

If the details from Kerem are correct on that specific model year of Accord, that is good advice from him to take. I don’t know the info personally, but Kerem seems like a knowledgeable guy.

Neither are the best years but I would have a mechanic check out both odds are one of them might not be in good mechanical shape. All else being equal I would go Camry because the 08 Accord had a lot of problems.
