Beware of potential frame rust. The rear half of the frame is made of much poorer quality steel than the front half. The frames were riveted together from the factory. Oftentimes, the body is still rust-free. I have a 1999 Ranger and a crossmember is rotted out. Have a mechanic check it out for rust.
