Hey everyone, I just have a quick question. I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra that has 130k miles and sat for about a year and the only light that works is the anti theft. It has a new battery and even when i hook the battery up and disconnect it the headlights won't come on. When i try to turn the key over nothing happens and all you see is the anti theft light. If anyone has some insight I would appreciate it. Thank you
Well if it thinks it's being stolen it won't let you do anything. Now they set a long time. No one knows what happens to the electronics, but if you have another key try, another key could be that key is just broken because if it's not that man, those NFL systems are complex to work on, though you might try to find a good locksmith in your area. Many of them will work on those systems a lot cheaper than a dealer mechanic
Thanks for the reply man i appreciate it. Like you said, since it sat so long who knows what happened to the electronics. I tried the spare key that i had and still the same results. I'm going to have a pro look at it and see if they can resolve the issue. Thanks again
